Owl cushion

I love my owl cushion, and purchased a few as Christmas presents this year.

(Please don't pull the button eyes off Peppa!)

Some popular presents

Just a few of my favourites.
'Bubbles' my poodle soap dispenser,  made by a quirky French company called Pylones.
Tin mug designed by artist Rob Ryan. This has become my new basil pot and takes pride of place on the kitchen windowsill.
My beautiful new 'work' bag by Orla Kiely, which is just gorgeous in every way.

Decorations come down

I like the look of all our decorations laid out on the table, about to be put away for another year.

Pooch in a poncho

Peppa looks cute in her lovely new raincoat. She doesn't like rain at all, so this was a great choice for her!

Chocolate log

Alice and I were very proud of our completed chocolate log. The girls prefer this as an alternative to Christmas pudding and Christmas cake.

Waddesdon Manor

My Christmas would not be complete without our annual visit to Waddesdon Manor. The interior of this beautiful house is decorated each year with a stunning sumptuous Christmas display. Each year is a new theme and this year it was 'Italian Christmas'. It is a breathtaking display, from the minute you walk in the house, until you finally, reluctantly leave. Sadly you cannot take pictures inside the house, as I would love to show how beautiful it looks.
After a cream tea , we came out and took a magical walk around the reindeer trail in the house grounds, looking at sparkling willow reindeer with lights in the trees to guide our way.
